The next meeting for the car club will be for golfers and non-golfers. We are going to be hitting the links across from Saturn South-east. Okay, we are only talking about miniature golf but hey ya got to start somewhere! I would like to know the approximate number of participants so that I can relay this information to the golf manager. If you were not at the July meeting and would like to join us then please call the Hotline with the number in your party. I’ll be calling in on Wednesday evening the 7^th for a final count.

HELLO FELLOW CAR CLUBBERS!!!!

Please read all about the events coming up in Peggy and John’s long-long article. We certainly are not slowing down because of all the heat. Much time and effort by your events people are what helps us have all these events for you to choose. My wife and I joined them on a recent fact-finding trip for the upcoming bicentennial barn tour. I’m not allowed to tell you which barns but if you join the tour out of the 88 barns that have been painted you will visit four... The barn in Marion County was just painted with the logo on July 16 ^& 17^th. They had a great turn out of folks to watch the paint dry. The 23^rd, we went to Logan County (Lakeview) and watched that barn get painted. Hopefully, you’ve seen some of these barns as you drive around in your Saturn. Please join us for this tour on the 22^nd of September.

A hot topic right now is membership. New membership cards are being sent out and have been received by many, if you do not receive your new card within the next couple of days PLEASE bring it to the attention of Phil Carter or me. Hopefully we will be able to resolve any problems. Please do NOT contact Saturn management. Remember, your discount as a club member is not something the dealership has to do but is a bonus!

I will be holding another Saturday meeting at Saturn North on the September 14^th. This meeting is for members who are unable to attend our regular monthly meetings on Thursday night. At this meeting we will be discussing Saturn Day at the Zoo, the barn tour, the annual trip to Spring Hill and finally the holiday party. This meeting will start at 10am.
