STEERING COLUMN
We were hit with a double whammy and lost communications with our members. We must have gone into an astrological occurrence and suffered a black-out. Both the hotline and our newsletter were out and my APOLOGIES to members that could not reach us or missed the June meeting.
HELLO FELLOW CAR CLUBBERS!!!!
The good news is that the hotline is now back up and running. If you tried earlier in the month of June and got a recording saying the hotline was disconnected, you can now call us. On the flip side our editor resigned just before the newsletter was to go to press. Our club champion worked through the summer's night and the heat of the day to get it out. However, if you receive the newsletter thru e-mail it was not available until the day of the meeting on the 13th of June. The board of officer's will be getting a name to approve to become your intern editor for the rest of the year.
I would like to thank HANK ARBAUGH a fellow member of the club and the bonafide musician for performing for us and putting on a wonderful program which I'm sure was well received by those in attendance.
PLEASE NOTE: Our meeting on July 11th at NORTH WILL START 1/2 HOUR EARLIER AT 6:30.
We are doing this so that we can spend more time outdoors hiking at Highbanks Metro Park then go for a late dinner at Roadhouse Grill. So come on out and have some FUN with the CLUB.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!! The annual trip to Spring Hill, TN. will be in October. Some of the members will be leaving by Saturn Train on Saturday the 12th. Peggy and John will have more details.
Hey, don't forget you can contact me thru my e-mail when everything else fails
arthur.peterson@eudoramail.com
You can contact me thru the Hotline which I monitor three to four times a week at :

See you at the next event or meeting

June Adopt-A-Highway
I would like to thank the following members for participating in the event on the 15th of June. JIM HARRASS, BECKY HARRASS, BILL HALSEY, SCOTT HARTMAN, and JOSEPH FINN.
They all agree with me that this clean-up is getting much easier. We are now able also to park our cars in three different locations, which makes everything much easier too.
My thanks to Saturn of Columbus for treating us to lunch. All in all it was a great day and we finished in just over two hours.
