STEERING COLUMN
The weather is heating up and so are the EVENTS.
Peggy,John, and I form a roundtable and discuss all the events and they come in all price range, and a great variety. All members should be able to choose at least a couple of events and earn points too.
HELLO FELLOW CAR CLUBBERS!!!!
Last month we had our family all day picnic, and no one should have gone home hungry. The weather was not too pleasant but it was comfortable inside the shelter with the walls closed, and the fireplace and stove warming up the place. Some people enjoyed sitting by the fire and utilizing the wood supplied by metro parks.
At this event club members actually got to play BINGO and win PRIZES supplied by SATURN OF COLUMBUS.
Speaking of EVENTS we NEED to hear from members that are interested in going to Spring Hill. We need to set a date so that arrangements can be made and reservation for lodging. Please voice your favorite time to go either at the general meeting, suggestion box, or call the hotline. I'm setting the meeting in June as the final date for selection otherwise the events chair and I along with the Club Champion will make the final decision.
Please read the events column and note all the activities that are planned for the next few months. They include MAY 18TH to Utica and Velvet Ice Cream Olde Mill, and MAY 31ST/JUNE 1ST to Lake Erie and Island hopping.
I'm also conducting short meetings in July and August for our regular Thursday sessions to hold outside events on that evening too.
I held our second Saturday meeting on the 20th of April at Saturn North. I thank all those that attended. Our next Saturday meeting will be at SATURN SOUTHEAST on June 22nd.
The next regular Thursday meeting will be
MAY 9TH AT SATURN SOUTH-EAST starting at 7pm. I at this writing can not disclose our mini-event for the evening since it is still not confirmed. So come on out and see what is happening. You can contact me thru the Hotline which I monitor three to four times a week at
