Welcome.
My name is Alana Shock, and I am a personal chef and a new restaurateur.
I have recently opened my own restaurant, called "Alana's," which is located north of the Ohio State University campus. We renovated the place formerly known as ala carte. The ambiance of the dining rooms and patio is now French brasserie with a flare. We also have a wine shop with a wide selection available for you to to either enjoy with dinner at my place, or to take home and enjoy on your own.
We serve what I describe as "Food of Love." The emphasis is on fresh and delicious foods prepared in styles from all over the world.
I have worked as a corporate chef for Lettuce Entertain You in Chicago; Chef tournade at Emeril's in New Orleans; Executive Chef at David's on Main (now Out on Main), as well as Pastry and Chef Garde Manager at the Gourmet Market (now Spagio) in Columbus, Ohio.
