The Columbus Public system is one of the largest school systems in Ohio. There are approximately 359 schools in Franklin County with approximately 62,915 students enrolled in the 1994-95 school year (K-12) according to the Ohio Department of Education.

The Special Education Department is one of the most exciting and innovative services offered to special needs students.
