When possible, I've tried to give visitors access to my various projects. Compiled here are otaku-like activities that don't yet merit a page unto themselves. For information on them, keep reading:

1993 OTAKU GENERATION - The "yelling daphne" link will take you to an archive of this semi-retired dojin inspired by the similarly named GAINAX anime. The comic tells the very unlikely story of a beautiful coed taking an interest in the anime fandom enjoyed by three oddball college guys. Go ahead and try to spot all the anime visuals stolen for use as background filler (not easy with my mediocre resolution scans ^_^;)

CHEMICAL X MUSIC VIDEO - This summer I created my first anime fan video using a cute techno tune and footage from the Tenchi Muyo OVAs. I barely made the submission deadline for OTAKON99, but they felt the need to drop my project and others from the show roster to save time. Apparently, new vids don't have priority over ones that have been making the convention rounds since the start of the year...nor do fan projects deserve their own video room. I was not happy having my debut tape chucked into the void. Nevertheless, I will submit it again to a different, less critical, convention next year. Since the video was made on the computer, I'm trying to compress it to a size that one could download. Eventually, the image map will link to an AVI file or such.

ANIME CENTRAL DOUJINSHI PAGE - With the help of Ryan Gavigan and the guests at AC99, a mini-publication was made featuring fan art and guest art done during the convention. It was available on that Sunday for $1...what a deal! My one-page contribution can be seen via the link. I hope to do more doujin art for next year's event.

DIODE FONT - Long ago, I made this font for a local typehouse. My inspiration for it included computer text and lettering by Syd Mead. Unfortunately, it isn't available any more.

PC WALLPAPERS - You're not a true otaku without a plethora of anime background bitmaps! I use Adobe Photoshop to enhance my scans and satisfy my design-trained eyes. Here is a list of current archive images and where they came from:

PC COOLING AND STUFF - The performance improvements I try to make on my spare-coin budget are here. View via the link the PCI card fan that was mounted inside using a bracket made of LEGO. Other madcap experiments to come. My scratch-built junker is made from:
