HOW CAN I HELP?

The Sensory Garden is always in need of labor and financial aid. Here's how you can help.

MAINTAINING THE GARDEN

The Lions took upon the Sensory Garden as a long tern project. As such we share a responsibility to maintain the Garden. This includes the cost of maintenance for such items as annual plants, replacement plants including trees, shrubs, perennials and maintenance supplies. So far all labor for this project has been by volunteers, Lions and friends.

The cost for materials and plants will be paid from funds raised from the sale of additional rows of bricks at ($200.00) per row or hexagonal payers at ($350.00) each and general contributions.

For long term maintenance an endowment fund has been created (see explanation below). A gift subscription form is a part of this page for the convenience of those willing to assist financially with this project.

The supervision of the Garden will be under the direction of the Lions Sensory Garden Committee in accordance with the Lions District 13-F Constitution, By-Laws and Policy Manual.

Questions about the plants work schedule, garden Maintenance, etc. should be directed to the Committee.

The Committee includes:

PDG Ralph Stacy, Lion Elieen Long,

Lion Brian Turner, PDG John Dilley,

PDG John Fischer, Lion Jeff Brantner,

Lion Thomas Barton
