I'm a wife, mother of three, with four grandchildren.  I'm an Educational Interpreter and Sign Language Instructor in the public school.  I teach private beginning Sign Language classes one on one or in small groups.  I also teach and pool interpret for the local service for the deaf.  If there is time, I do some freelance interpreting.  I'm a graduate of a ITP program, with an associate in Interpreting/Translitorating.  I'm NAD Certified. I've completed my certificate program for "Introduction to Teaching ASL", Linguistics of ASL, ASL for Native Signers, Teaching Basic ASL, Teaching ASL Practicum I and Teaching ASL Practicum II.

My hobbies are computers, learning the keyboard and piano, gardening, bowling and collecting all types of stuffed (including beanie babies) animals.
