Advanced Payment : Thompson Electronics Service Center, Inc. requires an advanced payment of "see above" for all units not covered by a service contract or factory warranty. This advanced payment will be applied to the repair of the unit. If the estimated cost of repair exceeds our advanced authorization, or (average repair cost), and the estimate given is declined, this fee becomes our diagnostic charge and is not refundable.

Advance Authorization : The advanced authorization (see service rates) column is based on an average repair cost (parts and labor) for each product category. To better serve you, (our customer) we require this approval when receiving units for repair. Service call and delivery charges will be additional for home service, and are calculated by zip code.
