Ship-In Service

Thompson Electronics Service Center inc. is now accepting units shipped to us  (within the United States only)  via UPS, RPS and Federal Express. If your unit is under factory warranty, or covered by a third party extended contract, a copy of the sales receipt and or service contract is required. Check the links at the bottom of this page, to ensure we can honor your warranty.

Shipping . Cover the unit with a plastic bag and seal if possible. This will stop the packing material from entering the unit. Make sure the unit is well packed with padding on all six sides . . Include our printable shipping form with advanced payment, contact information, and a detailed description of the units malfunction.

How much will it cost? Check out our Service Rates Page. There you will find our service charges and average total repair cost. Our goal is not to mislead our customers, but to give you the best service possible!!

Our Warranty. Products repaired by Thompson Electronics Service Center, Inc. are guaranteed for a period of 90 days. This guarantee covers all labor and parts that were installed by us. We even cover additional problems that were not part of the original repair! The only exceptions are abuse, picture tube's that were not replaced as a part of the repair, shipping cost, or acts of god! Normal turnaround time is 3-5 days. (Not to include shipping time or weekends.)
